Non Stop Ultra

A backyard ultra is typically defined as a form of ultra marathon, where competitors must consecutively run 4.167 mile laps, under the hour, every hour until there is one last person standing.

Our Runningmonk Non Stop Ultra event will be our own take on things....

Firstly, there will be no cut off, as we feel it is important that our event is accessible to everyone.

Secondly,  you can choose upon registering, the duration of your run, which will either  be over a 12 hour or 24 hour period.

And thirdly, rather than running under the hour, every hour, the aim is to run as many laps as you can within the time frame you have selected. For example, if you wanted to run two back to back loops, sit back and relax for an hour, before setting off again, you absolutely can! Or, if you wanted to run continual, non…
