New Year's Day 5k

To kick off 2027 and begin the year positively, why not join us for our New Year's Day 5k?

This event is becoming a tradition for many of you. It's an excellent way to shake off that Christmas hangover and start the year energetically by running around the beautiful trails of Bishop's Castle with friends and family.

The 5k will both start and finish at The Church Barn, Bishop's Castle and the route will take you along the Shropshire Way and the adjoining trails. Expect muddy trails, stream crossings, woodlands and more.

This event welcomes all ages and abilities and is perfect for everyone, from beginners to experienced runners. Plus, with no time limit, there's no pressure, allowing you to enjoy the route at your own pace.

Shake off those New Year's Eve cobwebs, gather your friends and family, your dog, your neighbours and join us at the starting line.
