Get ready to discover one of the most beautiful marathon routes in Shropshire.

This stunning circular marathon starts and finishes in Bishop’s Castle and takes you deep into the heart of the Shropshire Hills, combining breathtaking scenery, challenging trails and a fantastic sense of adventure.

Following sections of the iconic Shropshire Way, the route takes you through the beautiful Nipstone and Stiperstones National Nature Reserves, before tackling the magnificent Long Mynd.

As you climb, you’ll be rewarded with sweeping panoramic views across the surrounding countryside. From the high points of the Long Mynd, the route winds its way back along a mixture of beautiful local footpaths before bringing you home to the historic and charming market town of Bishop’s Castle.
