We have created Runningmonk Trail Events, an Ultrarunning event company founded out of our love of trail and long distance running. We both have a  true passion for running and want to make our Ultras as inclusive and open as possible. We care about all of our runners and believe that running is for everyone.

We have no cut off times, and if you enter and are prepared to keep pushing forward to the end, we will be there with a smile and your finishers bag, stocked with local beer from Bishops Castle's very own Three Tuns Brewery/a non alcoholic alternative and a pair of cool, hand tie dyed running socks.

Our mission is one of inclusiveness, with the aim of encouraging people to try their first ever ultramarathon whilst giving experienced runners a great day out on a fantastic course, with a friendly and happy vibe.

The Event

This course is a 50k route to be made up of road, trail, forestry and fields, showcasing Shropshire's true beauty, taking in sections of the Shropshire Way, Offa's Dyke path and the historic Kerry Ridgeway.

The event will start and finish at Foxholes Castle Camping, where there will be toilet, shower and camping facilities available.

Entry fee - £50.

Optional camping at Foxholes Castle Camping - £10 a night, per person, please enquire directly with Foxholes.
